Module M2
DesignedWork orders
Orders for work done, with time and cost, raised from a case or from nothing at all. The contractor sees an order — not your system.
Data, screens, notifications and settings are decided. No code is written.
What shapes this module
A work order is not the same object as a case. One report can need three orders, and a defect found during an inspection produces an order with no report behind it at all. Collapsing the two is the most expensive modelling mistake available here, and it cannot be undone once a year of history sits in it.
For the manager
- Raise from a case or standalone, because planned maintenance has no report behind it
- Assign to your own staff or to a supplier
- Record time spent and cost
- Close the order back onto the case it came from
What you configure yourselves
- Cost categories
- Whether residents see that an order exists
Not built
Not built. The contractor view also rests on time-limited access to a single object, which does not exist yet either.
